Cosmetic Surgery

Every year, more and more people opt to go under the knife, deciding to undergo cosmetic surgery to change a part of their body they might be displeased with. As a result, they may feel an increase in their self confidence, with a higher opinion of their body.

The treatments are also referred to as plastic surgery, encompassing a wide range of treatments, all of which can affect different parts of the body and can be used (in some cases) for both men and women, from the removal of excess fat to a change in volume of the breasts.

A popular form of cosmetic surgery is rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, in which the size, span and shape of the nose can be changed by a surgeon. Many people choose such treatment, with men also benefiting from it as well as women and statistics each year point to it being one of the most common forms of plastic surgery.

But there are many other forms of cosmetic surgery out there, some of which relate to the breasts (breast enlargement, breast uplift, breast augmentation and breast reduction), whilst others involve the removal of excess fat or skin (liposuction and a tummy tuck).
